Tato s\u00edla vznik\u00e1, proto\u017ee molekuly vody jsou navz\u00e1jem p\u0159itahov\u00e1ny a nejsou v rovnov\u00e1ze stejn\u00fdm p\u016fsoben\u00edm ze v\u0161ech stran. Tak\u017ee se povrch vody chov\u00e1 jako elastick\u00e1 vrstva (bl\u00e1na). <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>D\u00edky povrchov\u00e9mu nap\u011bt\u00ed se je mo\u017en\u00e9 vid\u011bt na hladin\u011b vody drobn\u00e9 p\u0159edm\u011bty nebo hmyz. Kdyby povrchov\u00e9 nap\u011bt\u00ed neexistovalo, voda by se ihned rozpadla na malinkat\u00e9 kapi\u010dky, kter\u00e9 by se okam\u017eit\u011b vypa\u0159ily. Neexistovaly by ani vodn\u00ed plochy.
